The substantial GP-2 mount has years of great success with astronomers.
This mount is extremely strong and robust for its small stature and many companies over the years have tried to match its features with no success. Optional extras can be ordered (see below). We use the GP-2 on our Europa range of telescopes. Optional motors on each axis make this system very attractive for visual observation and tracked astro photography.

Accurate tracking is accomplished with dual 144-tooth aluminum worm wheels and a brass R.A. worm gear machined to better than 0.002-mm tolerance. All R.A. and declination worm gears are individually inspected before assembly.
