Despite having bad seeing conditions and our well known and often painted Dutch clouds in the sky, even here below sea level, it is sometimes possible to obtain good images of planets and deep sky objects. Heavy light pollution is also another big problem in our region with Soccer and Hockey fields and more people installing ridiculous strong garden lights.

I have a heavily light polluted home location. So I always use filters and take my complete equipment with me to summer vacations under good skies. Some of the pictures are from my vacation site in Austria and some from Berlin.
