Location: Blackpool, UK
Telescope: SPX250 f/6.3 1/10th wave, and Vixen A70Lf 70mm refractor
Mount: Computer controlled Skywatcher EQ6 Pro
Cameras: Micrometrics 122CU 1.3Mp, Canon 400D, Toucam Pro, Toucam Pro II SC1
Filters: Various colour filters, Baader Contrast Booster and Lumicon Deep Sky Filter.
My SPX250 is housed in an observatory built by my fiancée and I in 2006, with help from other members from the local society. My main interests are lunar and deep sky imaging. The sky where we live is moderately light polluted but worse when the town's famous illuminations are switched on every autumn - we have to dodge the searchlights and lasers

Name: John Hothersall.
Location: mid-Cheshire.
Telescope: SPX350 F4.53 Ultra Grade.
Mount: EQ6 mod.
CCD: ATK-16HR, DMK21AF, Mintron12V6.
Accessories: Astronomik filters, ATK-MFW, Baader MPCC.
Have been imaging with SPX350 since July2008, I have no observatory and setup every night, scope gives perfect backfocus and illumination to give flexible imaging/visual system and collimation is easy, the motorised focuser is a nice feature makes focusing simple. Scope fits easily on EQ6 mount and I image with CCD's in 5/10m subs. Visuals are amazing when seeing is good.
