European AstroFest once again took place at Kensington Conference and Events Centre on 5th and 6th February 2010.
Orion Optics UK were pleased to be at the Show and wish to thank, most sincerely, all those who stopped by our stand for either just a look, to ask for advice and indeed to all those who purchased telescope systems or accessories at special prices on the day.
Business was brisk on both Show days and it was good to interact with customers and gain feedback.
Particular interest was directed towards our ODK, AG and CT Carbon Tube Telescopes.

This year, the following Telescopes and Mounts were on display:
ODK10 on EQ6 Synscan mount
The smallest aperture in the range but still a formidable scope on the popular and stable EQ6 Synscan Mount.
ODK12 on Losmandy G11G mount
The "next-up" model, the 12". Weighing in at 19kg, it sits proudly on a Losmandy G11G Mount featuring Gemini Control - a great combination.
ODK16 on Losmandy TITAN mount
The mighty 16" scope on the equally mighty Titan Mount. The 16" ODK is the flagship of the range. It has a Focal Length of 2720mm at f6.8.
AG12 on Losmandy G11 mount
An exceptional performer in the deep sky arena. Fast 3.8 focal ratio and featuring our super-stable CNC machined aluminium 9 point suspension mirror cell. The 12" here is aloft a Losmandy G11 mount.
AG16 ota only
An exquisite astrograph weighing in at approximately 23kg. and features our 3" Crayford focuser with 10:1 reduction and Superb optics.
CT8 on EQ5 mount
1/10PV wavefront optics. f4.5. Our 8" Ultra Newtonian is a great all-rounder for deep sky and planetary/lunar observation. This model is on the popular EQ5 mount.
CT10 on EQ6 Synscan mount
This 10" model is a joy to use, offering physical stability with virtually zero expansion for focal plane maintenance. The EQ6 Synscan mount is respected for its ease of use and features.
EUROPA 150 on EQ5 mount
Still our workhorse of the skies, the little Europa 150 is an "entry level scope" but is one of the best scopes in its class - you will be amazed with the images it produces.
EUROPA 200 f4.5 on DELUXE ALTAZ mount
A great portable setup, this medium sized telescope is excellent in the deep sky arena and performs well on planetary and lunar work. The 200 is mounted on the Deluxe AltAz mount - weighing in at about 6kg.
OMC140 on EQ5 mount
A good looking telescope, the 140 sports a carbon tube - if you demand precision - look no further.
OD250L
Our award winning 250L Dobsonian produces excellent images at high power. Excellent build quality gives reliability and ease of use.
SPX200 F6 on Losmandy GM8G mount
Our popular SPX 200 is a great all round scope featuring 1/8PV optics giving you great image quality on planets, moon, nebulae, double stars, etc. This model is mounted on Losmanndy's GM8G mount featuring Gemini GOTO.
